Teacher Advancement Program

Our staff at Lattie Coor is entering their third year in the TAP or Teacher Advancement Program. This program focuses on providing teachers with focused professional development to improve instruction and student achievement.  Every Wednesday, all certified staff participates in up to 2 hours of professional development to discuss and implement quality teaching strategies to support student learning.

This year, we are focused on writing. The district has adopted a new K-8 writing program that is aligned to Thinking Maps. Teachers will receive weekly support in teaching writing through the TAP cluster meetings facilitated by Master and Mentor teachers.

If you have questions on the TAP program, feel free to contact one of our Master Teachers on campus: Mrs. Carter or Ms. Miller.
